Reggae/Ska/Rock straight from the heart of Socal’s Huntington Beach. It all started with Jackson Johansen (the front man of the group) formed the band with former lead guitarist, and connected with Dane Anderson (lead guitar) and connor smith (drums). After working out kinks and finding their sound, they found Kobe Wood (bass) also known as Lukup , Josué Prieto (Percussion), and Mirella Mullins (keys). 74ODD draws inspiration from modern Reggae bands such as Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Iya Terra, DENM, Tribal Seeds and other local bands. 74ODD has worked hard to make a name for themselves in the local reggae scene, and has been on stage with bands and artists such as Tunnel Vision, Pato Banton, Seedless, Protoje, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, Kanaka Fyah, Members of Sublime, Brett Bollinger of Pepper, Long Beach Dub All Stars, and many more. The group fills out any room they play in, with deep kick drum and bass accenting the roaring guitar solos. The debut album “To Live”, Features music for any mood. Such as the Beach vibes “Good Life” and “Vacation” bring. The upbeat rocklike songs such as “To Live” and “Westminster” will never fail to get people’s feet moving.
