Jay.Rxk started his musical journey in church. Being heavily involved, He would join the choir where he would occasionally get opportunities to lead. After success in his choir, he would be hired to sing at weddings and other special functions. His debut single "Isaiah 60:22" was released on May 8, 2018, This song was produced by Kahpo Productions. His music is a cross over between dancehall and afrobeat and he boasts a voice which can only be describes as "euphonious". Powerful vocal melodies are consistent throughout his records. "Truth To Be Told" is the name of his first major project and he promises to improve with every release.
