Jah Clarity
Jah Clarity was born on March 26, 1976 and raised in Browns Town, St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica. Coincidentally this Parish is the same place of birth as World renown orator and Jamaican National hero; Marcus Garvey and Legendary Rastafarian and Reggae Singer, Bob Marley. Jah Clarity took his inspiration from these Jamaican heroes of struggle and endeavor for the freedom, justice and equality of black skin, and pursued his passion of music in his educational career, where he studied at Edna Manley School of Visual and Performing Arts, in Kingston, Jamaica. Jah Clarity is a performing vocalist with a resounding voice and attention grabbing signature trademark “yeah-ah” vocal call. Jah Clarity has a deep bass sound and has versatile vocal abilities ranging from primarily voicing Dancehall early in his career to Reggae, R&B and Hip Hop. His voice can be characterized as dynamic and bold with a Ragga Ragga Reggae tone. He captivates his listeners with creative metaphors through his lens of charismatic vision. He is described as the kind of DJ that can ‘stay up pon di riddim.’ Jah Clarity continues to grow to new levels of success with an astonishing combination song “Can’t Fight Againse Rasta” with Reggae Super Star Turbulence in (2012). More recently he debuted with three other Super Star Reggae performers including Sizzla and Capleton on Anthony B (2015) album release, “Best of the Best”. ~ Jah Smooth
