Oregon based psychedelic indie hip-hop jam band Free Creatures is rising fast! Referred to sometimes as umami music, their genre-blasting and energetic sound brings a smart and uplifting blend of smooth vocals, upright bass, electric guitar, and MPC live. The band consists of only three members: Eugene-born emcee and long-time Northwest legend Marv Ellis, Anchorage Alaskan Emily Turner gifting her sweet serenading vocals over solid and beastly grooves on Upright Bass, and upside-down leftie-shredding wizard and guitar-super-hero Skyler Squglio from Reedsport, Oregon.
