Biography
Thabelo Goodwill Makakavhule, professionally known as Mr Seven Keys, is a South African artist born and raised in Dube Village, Soweto. Growing up in one of the country’s most culturally rich communities, his passion for music was shaped by the vibrant sounds and stories around him, laying the foundation for his journey in the industry. Mr Seven Keys first emerged as part of the duo T&T Muziq, where he began developing his sound and gaining experience within the music scene. Through this chapter, he sharpened his craft and built a strong musical identity, eventually stepping into his own as a solo artist with a clear vision and purpose. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work alongside some of the most respected names in the industry, including Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, Shaun Stylist, Musa Keys, MDU aka TRP, Cowboii, Pushkin, and Springle. These collaborations have helped shape his sound and expand his reach, positioning him within the evolving landscape of Amapiano and contemporary South African music. Now fully stepping into his own lane, Mr Seven Keys is focused on building a strong solo brand and delivering music that reflects his growth, creativity, and authenticity. With new releases and projects on the way, he continues to push his sound forward, aiming to leave a lasting mark on the industry while representing where he comes from.
