Biography
Jose Figueroa, better known as "Diamnd El Científico", is a skilled music producer and audio engineer from Puerto Rico. With over a decade of industry experience, Diamnd has become one of the most sought-after producers in the Latin music scene. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Diamnd was immersed in the island's rich musical culture early on. He honed his skills in audio engineering and production techniques, later working with top Latin music artists. Diamnd has been recognized for his outstanding work, receiving a Latin Grammy nomination for his first Christian music production, "Mi Refugio," featuring Alex Zurdo, GaVriel, Manny Montes, and Daddy Yankee’s brother Melvin Ayala. He also earned another Latin Grammy nomination for the album Consequências by Brazilian Christian artist Daniela Araújo. Additionally, Diamnd won two Premios Galardón awards for Ariel Ramírez's song "Oveja Negra" and was nominated for Producer of the Year at Premios Galardón. His versatile production style is known for seamlessly blending genres and creating music that resonates globally. Now based in Tampa, FL, Diamnd continues to collaborate with a diverse range of artists.
