Biography
For the last 6 years, The Troy Story 3 has been cultivating his craft in the jungles and mountains of Costa Rica, inviting listeners to not just listen to his music but experience it. Growing up in the church culture in Dallas Texas, Troy would first begin to utilize his soulful voice in his first band EXG (Extraordinary Gentlemen) and later by becoming the lead singer for his funk band, The Soltones, in Denver Colorado. But it wasn’t until his visit to India for his yoga teacher training that his passion for sound healing was ignited. Being inspired as a boy by World TV and their show “World Music,” Troy’s vision is to combine traditional and ancient acoustic instruments and sounds with a modern aesthetic of electronic bass, tribal, R&B rhythms, oftentimes accompanied by his smooth and otherworldly voice.
