Biography
Lucy Dee, formed in 2017, comprised of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Gabe Ocampo, lead guitarist Lance Calanog, bassist Robi Guzman, and drummer Paul Roxas, all draw influence from their different musical backgrounds, from indie, metal, classic rock, J-rock, pop, and R&B. The four-piece band is then able to write and produce powerful indie rock music that is vulnerably soulful by integrating each member's personal and unique sensibilities. The band's debut EP, "dont wait til tomorrow", captures the counterintuitive tendency to shelve and suppress issues that one knows must be dealt with. This is explored through raw vocals and instrumentals that give a sense of relatability, sentimentality, and wonder amidst wistful narratives.
