Biography
Tsodor (Theodor Striese) is a Tech House & Minimal DJ, producer, and audio engineer hailing from Germany, with a rich foundation in classical and jazz music. He is based in Ibiza. Starting with piano at age 4 and later mastering conducting and composition, Tsodor's early successes in the classical world paved the way for his transition into electronic music at 12. Inspired by artists like Traumer, Ricardo Villalobos, Igor Stravinsky, Kraftwerk, Deadmau5 and many more, he has seamlessly blended his classical roots with the energy of the club scene, embodying his journey "from concert halls to clubs". Now based between Ibiza and Berlin, Tsodor collaborates with renowned artists, crafting sophisticated beats with a quirky, urban minimal touch that captivates dancefloors. A graduate of the Abbey Road Institute, his releases span prestigious labels like Cocoon Recordings and Moodmusic Records. His latest work, the genre-agnostic album "Diffused Nocturne" on Woodland Creatures, has earned accolades from top DJs and amongst others solidify his place in the electronic music scene.
