Biography
Mc Neguinho do ITR, born Igor de Jesus Bento Batista, is a Brazilian baile funk MC and songwriter from Vitória, Espírito Santo, who built his career around the “beat fino” sound that emerged from the local funk scene in the late 2010s. He was born on November 11, 1995, and began releasing music digitally around 2018, putting out early singles such as “Popotão Grandão” and “Forte pra Dar Sorte” featuring MC Digu, which circulated on regional playlists and introduced his aggressive, street-focused lyrical style. Over the next two years he appeared on collaborations including “Berimbau 2018” and other DJ-driven tracks, and in March 2020 he released his first full-length album Teile E Zaga, an 18-track project that gathered club favorites like “Só Motel Só Tetel” and “Teile e Zaga” and helped project his name beyond Espírito Santo. That same year he gained nationwide exposure through appearances on posse cuts such as “Set Dj Gm 2.0” and “Set Dj Gm 4.0,” lining up alongside MC Ryan SP, Nego do Borel and other high-profile funk artists. In 2023 Mc Neguinho do ITR released his second album Perfil Brasileiro, expanding his catalog with tracks that mixed baile funk, narrative lyrics and a heavier, more melodic production approach. From 2024 onward he maintained a steady flow of singles and features, including the collaboration “De Baixo Pra Cima” with MC FG and a string of 2025 releases such as “Cala Boca Piranha,” “Não Fica Perguntando Se Eu Sou Raul” and “Ela Tá Querendo Pix Ta,” along with forró-flavored tracks like “Forrozin Baile na Fávela” and “Forrozin Vai Tacando,” consolidating his role in the contemporary funk output of Espírito Santo.
