Biography
Hello everyone! I’m Tal Rendlich, and Kanok is my electronic music project. I was born in 1996 in Israel and grew up in a musical household in the southern Negev, surrounded by sound from an early age. Music quickly became my natural language - a place for curiosity, emotion, and expression. Over the years, I explored many genres, until I discovered trance music. That moment changed everything and sparked a passion that has driven me ever since. After years of listening, learning, and experimenting, I started shaping the Kanok sound: a journey that refuses to be boxed into a single definition. My music moves with emotion rather than rules - ranging from dark, mysterious atmospheres to uplifting, bright, and energetic moments. Each track reflects a different state of mind, a different story, a different shade of life. And despite the contrasts, all these moments eventually come together into one complete journey. For me, authentic art can’t be fixed to one direction, and in music - especially trance - there are no limitations. After a long process with myself and with my music, I’m super excited to finally share my music with the world. I’d love for you to follow, join in, and be part of my musical journey.
