Biography
Demetrius "DYFL" Lumpkin is an independent hip hop artist from Miami, Florida (Overtown and Lil Haiti), who began writing at the young age of 8 years old. After recording under super producers Cool & Dre and soaking up game, he later branched out and began releasing mixtapes online. His 3rd mixtape, "Rise of A King" was hosted by hip hop icon DJ Khaled. Since then, he has appeared on the BET series "One Shot" and has landed deals with Converse and Journeys shoes for various music collaborations. DYFL was featured on music with Hip Hop mogul and artist Jim Jones on the “Miami Vamps” mixtape, Wyclef Jean on his “Inspired By” mixtape and has released Rise Of A King 2 and the 24 EP. DYFL also has a record titled “The Good Die Young” hosted by Fat Joe and "Scared Mone" featuring Jim Jones on his "We Made It" Ep. His latest and most vulnerable project "The Light In A Dark Room" is available now.
