Biography
SNEWPY is a North London rapper. Observant & thoughtful, he uses the multicultural influences of his hometown in his music to connect with people. Starting as a church drummer, learning how to work a rhythm live, his grasp of beats & the gaps swinging in-between play out in his intricate punctuating rap flows. He's got an ear & a pen for creating hooks that nostalgically bounce like a rapper from the golden eras of hip hop. Authenticity is key for SNEWPY. Rapping about life as it is for him, he's not into stunting in videos with rented props, wanting to keep it credible. He'll stunt once he's earned it. EHG is the camp that SNEWPY helms. "The EHG movement will shift the UK urban & music cultures, catapulting them forward" "Musically it’s a fusion. Early years exposed me to dancehall & reggae (SIZZLA & VYBES KARTEL), I moved into early 90’s/2000’s hip hop (50 CENT) and then the new school of rap. CHIEF KEEF impacted me, paving a new lane & reshaping the culture" SNEWPY
