Matthew Shell's first 4 album productions of 2026 are "FM4", "Spiritually Speaking 2", Kenny McNeil's "ShotGun" (exclusively at MTSmusic.net), & Devereux Grace's "Crown of Thorns", out 6/19. The song "She Let's the Light in but Commands the Darkness Away" was written by Shell about everyone's struggle to make good choices in a crazy world that pulls us in every direction. It was inspired by a letter his mom wrote before she passed where she said with every decision she wanted to make her parents proud. Shell is a down to earth, easy to work with music producer/engineer born in Washington D.C. & raised in Maryland, USA. Shell is a prolific guitarist on a GRAMMY® winning album & is a 2026 GRAMMY® nominee for producing & mixing Joanie Leeds & Joya's children's album "Ageless: 100 Years Young". Shell's production, mixing, & engineering credits include Selina Gomez, Philip Lawrence from Bruno Mars’ team, Gerald Albright, Paul Jackson Jr., & O.A.R., among others.
