Biography
Jerome Clayton is a Singer/songwriter & musician. Born and raised in Connecticut. Music became his passion at an early age. By the age of 10, He began to play drums and sing at his parents church where his older brother was a musician as well. In his high school years he studied many genres of music but really took a liking to the jazz and R&B genre. Following school, he began writing and recording his own music. Partnering with his long time friend “John Moran”, they began producing records together in a new studio John built himself. "TheStu860" In 2011 he met his manager “Quentin DeBerry.” With a well developed tight knit team Jerome has been able to take part in life altering opportunities. In 2014 He competed in VH1s “Make A Band Famous” where he and the band “MALADO” made it to the top 2 bands left. In 2017 He went on to be apart of the “ISINA” music mentorship program where he was selected out of thousands to be mentored by the likes of “Babyface & Kenny G” to name a few. Since then, he released his debut EP in 2019 entitled “Half Hearted”. His sound expands to genres all around. From Pop/funk/electronica/soul or rock, he can and does perform music in those areas but, where he is most comfortable is in the R&B genre. His influences include the likes of Tyrese, Lucky Daye, Mint Condition & Tank to name just a few. He is the new face of music for this generation and is ready to give you music in almost EVERY genre.
