Biography
AJ Morrow is a 23 year old Nashville-based solo artist, producer, and drummer. AJ moved to Nashville from Northeast Iowa in 2021 to attend Belmont University. In early 2022, he joined the Nashville-based Reggae band Vibright on drums while producing and writing his own music on the side. In 2025, he joined forces and helped revive Shrub as drummer and lead vocalist. Throughout his introduction into the reggae scene after moving to Nashville, AJ has collaborated on records with local, national, and international artists such as college friend, Ben Jones (Nothin Serious), Shrub, Nick Sefakis of Iya Terra, Mic. Carr, Galiffa, Bottah Rankin of Hungary, and AJ’s band Vibright. On drums with his local reggae bands, he has shared the stage with Fortunate Youth, Through the Roots, Tropidelic, Quasi Kings, Badfish, Beach Fly, ANORA, Kash’d Out, Bones Owens, Dan Spencer, Raelyn Nelson Band, Arise Roots, Sun-Dried Vibes, Higher Education, ZuP, Floralorix, Plainview Vibes, Paradise Daze, 40z Burrito, P-Nuckle, Natti-Love Joys, Stoney Banks, Jeremy Stinson, and more.
