Biography
Born in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, in the northern part of the city, BTT expresses his experiences in melodic compositions that span the trap genre. The artist gained great exposure with his debut track, released in December 2017, which was produced by renowned producer Neo Beats. The following year, BTT made several appearances on the tour of the group Class A, which was one of the groups responsible for promoting the artist nationwide. A lover of extreme sports and a local at the Aterro do Cocotá skate park, BTT was directly influenced by artists such as Charlie Brown Jr., O Rappa, Planet Hemp, Racionais MC's, Sabotage and The Notorious B.I.G.. Between one trick and another, his improvised rhymes caught the attention of everyone who frequented the skate park, located at the foot of Morro do Dendê, on Ilha do Governador. Little by little, a new generation was forming, with a language and attitude typical of that peripheral universe, which included freestyle, breakdancing, skateboarding, BMX, tagging and graffiti. Rejected from other projects, BTT formed his own band in 2013, where he had the freedom to sing his rhymes over an organic sound. The group disbanded in 2016 without recording a single track. That same year, BTT and producer Neo Beats met on the road with Class A. This meeting would become the starting point for his solo career. Currently, BTT has over millions of views on his tracks and has fans all over the country.
