Biography
Named after jazz legend Miles Davis, Miles Elliot has carried a lifelong passion for music rooted in groove, feel, and creative exploration. Inspired by J Dilla, Quincy Jones, Miles Davis, Roy Ayers, A Tribe Called Quest and D’Angelo, his sound fuses Jazz, Funk, Neo Soul, Hip Hop, and House, blending live musicianship with modern production. His music honors tradition while pushing into new territory, creating songs that feel both familiar and forward-thinking. Miles began producing music in 2017, starting with beat-making and bass guitar before expanding into full-scale composition and arrangement. After producing for local artists, he launched his solo project Miles Elliot. His debut EP Purple Label was released in 2019, followed by his debut full-length album Midnight Hour in 2022. He later formed The Miles Elliot Experience, a live band built to bring his studio creations to the stage. Miles continues to create music that connects emotionally, moves the body, and tells a story, with a new album slated for release in 2026.
