In 2010, during a heart-wrenching year on the road, Fox began documenting his life via songwriting. On a thrift-store guitar he wrote the songs that would become his first EP Red Coat (2012). A handful of singles since further delve into the fervor of intimacy and existential anxiety, while experimenting with different musical genres and production techniques. Break Apart (2018, Porchlight Records) was recorded and produced between the spring of 2015 and the winter of 2017. Encompassing the loss of loved ones, health scares, and strained relationships, the two years it took to create Break Apart was a time Fox's band could come together and feel a sense of queer community and creative accomplishment. Fox currently lives in the LA area on Tongva land. A single, Break the Vase, was released on June 11th, 2024.
