Biography
Hutch Harris, Jordan Hudson and Sam White are Clear Rivers, a post-pandemic indie rock band from the smoldering remnants of Portland, Oregon. Jordan(drums) and Hutch(guitar and vocals) previously wrote and performed as founding members of the legendary Pacific Northwest anti-punk outfit The Thermals; Clear Rivers’ self-titled debut is their first new collaboration in almost twenty years. Joined by their good friend and stellar bass player Sam White, the three have together formed a band — and a bond — guided above all by camaraderie and a pure love of music. Although ostensibly a new creation, the group has quickly become immensely beloved not only locally, but all over the world. Influences include acts as terrific and varied as Jawbreaker, Fleetwood Mac and Steely Dan.The band enjoys Mediterranean cuisine, Finnish-style sauna and Lysergic acid diethylamide.
