Biography
Rockefeller is a Dutch house music project by veteran producers Mark Nieuwenhuijzen and Addy van der Zwan. Famed for their inventive use of oldschool samples, the duo has dropped club hits since the early zeroes, always leading to powerful DJ weapons and enthused crowds. Known as a well-oiled production machine that delivers hits in various guises, Mark and Addy have worked on the Rockefeller project for quite a while already. In this shape, they like to use samples and grooves from the 80's and then put their own spin on it, in the first years quickly leading to club favorite “Do It 2 Nite,” emerging in several remixes from the likes of Lucas & Steve, Olav Basoski and Ian Carey. Recently, the guys have dropped fresh music again, teaming up with popular deep house act Redondo on club hits “Pretty Baby,” “Liberated Woman” and 2022’s “High On Emotion,” as well as 2019’s solo hit “Same Man” and their remix of Bart B More & Chocolate Puma’s hit “Rising Up.” For sure, Rockefeller is on fire again, and with a load of groovy house tracks stacked up for 2023, they’re bound to hit you soon enough!
