Biography
Federico Coderoni is a media composer, music producer and sound artist based in Berlin. From traditional notation to the unknown side of sound, he shapes music as a language to communicate with the most intimate level of people. He works closely with filmmakers and content creators from various backgrounds. He composes bespoke music for renowned brands such as Bvlgari, Marriott, Belmond, René Caovilla, as well as for major media productions by FOX, Sky, and Netflix. He boasts involvement as a composer and sound artist for artists and institutions such as Staatsballett Berlin and Chamaeleon Theatre, creating original music and sound art to support contemporary performances. In March 2023, the Berlin State Opera (Staatsoper Unter Den Linden) hosted the world premiere of his music for the dance piece “Encounter,” which was performed by Staatliche Ballettschule Berlin. His original music and AI video composition “Meət,” a Ballet Entertainment production supported by Ströer, was performed by Iana Salenko and Oleksandr Shpak and premiered at the Green Tech Festival 2023. In 2022, he composed music for the site-specific installation Testament Of Bucha, in support of Ukrainian victims of war crimes, exhibited in George-Grosz-Platz (Berlin) between August and September of that year.
