Mallinder has been increasing his DJ profile and honing an exciting new sound developed out of his deeper, warm and more soulful house sound of the time with playful percussion deep, groovy bass and hypnotic, dreamy vocals + keys. Some of these records became seminal for DJ’s around the world. You can hear shades of these influences in his productions but he now embraces a more eclectic world of house music taking in electronica, organic house, melodic house & deeper progressive sounds mastering intricate percussive work, tension building sounds and a focus firmly on the dancefloors of today. Play With Life EP which was released on Music To Die For Recordings on 3rd February 2023. Support from leading DJs and tastemakers Cristoph, John Digweed, Eelke Kleijn, Anthony Pappa “I wanted to make music for me to play out, making tracks for all key moments in the arc of a DJ set from warm up to take off, through peak time and closing.”
