Biography
Born in Brighton and based in Manchester, singer songwriter BETS cites influences as diverse as Kate Bush, The Smiths and Lizzy McAlpine and her debut single ‘Hungry’ is typical of her impressive catalogue. With lush orchestration, heart-tugging lyrics and grand vocals merging into something truly unique, it’s a glorious example of what she might call a ‘sad girl song’ but what everyone else calls simply glorious.
