Victor Gallardo a.k.a Sinky Beatz is a music producer born in Barcelona, Spain, known for blending world music, specially in reggae roots and dub music. His musical journey began early, studying jazz from a young age, a genre that continues to deeply influence his sound. After graduating from jazz school, he immersed himself in the world of traditional music, developing a particular passion for the rich rhythms of West African traditions. Inspired by reggae legends such as Lee Scratch Perry, King Tubby, Barret brothers, Midnite & Zion I Kings.. Sinky Beatz creates music that honors the genre's deep history while infusing it with global influences. His jazz background also plays a crucial role in his unique sound, drawing from icons like Miles Davis, Joe Zawinul, and Jaco Pastorius. With a deep respect for the traditions that have shaped his work, Sinky Beatz continues to craft music that bridges continents and cultures, paying homage to both his jazz roots and the powerful rhythms of reggae and African music.
