Hometown Heroes is an unprecedented documentary and gameshow series featuring the largest collection of music artists from Singapore. In Hometown Heroes, teams of musicians, each comprising three artistes and one producer, represent the four corners of Singapore and they go head to head in the ultimate regional face-off. The Hometown Heroes are: EAST: evanturetime, Shye, Marian Carmel, Estelle Fly SOUTH: J.SON, Daniel Sid, jaye, JAARVIS NORTH: Shaykhandbake, Dominic Chin, Josh Makazo, KHAi WEST: RIIDEM, Aisyah Aziz, Joie Tan, Haven Conceptualised by Zendyll alongside visual storytellers Bless7Up and developed in collaboration with National Youth Council, the miniseries shines a light on how Singapore’s neighbourhoods, food and culture have influenced musicians on our little red dot, all while giving artists an opportunity to explore their regions better through challenges and songwriting.
