Biography
Gruv1 (groove-one) is more than a name—it’s a movement. The brainchild of AJ Sorbello, Gruv1 is a call to connect on the dancefloor through rhythm, vibration, and pure intention. Blending Tech House, Speed Garage, and timeless House grooves, his sets aren’t just heard—they're felt. With releases on Orphan Music and his own imprint Build It Records, Gruv1 channels a deep-rooted philosophy: when we dance in rhythm, we move in unity. Each performance is a ritual of energy exchange—hypnotic basslines, uplifting builds, and the kind of flow that gets under your skin and into your soul. Whether he's behind the decks or behind the sound, Gruv1 doesn’t just play music—he curates an experience.
