Biography

Steph Simon is an independent rap artist, and cultural visionary from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Inspired by the entrepreneurial legacy of his hometown’s historic Greenwood District -known as Black Wall Street. His music blends motivational lyricism with vivid storytelling rooted in resilience, culture, and community. With four independent albums released, Steph stepped onto the national stage in 2021 as executive producer and lead artist of Fire in Little Africa, a collaborative project released through Motown Records that showcased Tulsa’s hip-hop scene to a global audience. Beyond his own artistry, Steph is committed to developing the next generation of creators. Through his Artist Development Program, TMC Records, he transforms a classroom at McLain High School into a working student-run record label where young artists learn songwriting, production, and performance while connecting their creativity to academic success. Steph is also the founder of the Dreamland Tulsa Foundation and Dreamland Festival, Oklahoma’s largest independent hip-hop festival held in Tulsa’s historic Greenwood District. His current artistic mission, “All Roads Lead to Dreamland,” invites the world to Tulsa to experience the culture, creativity, and community that continue to grow from the legacy of Black Wall Street.
