Listen to Higher

Hi I’m Gen. I grew up bouncing between sounds with house, dance, indie/alternative, and pop always on rotation. Coming out of Houston with roots in the DMV, I have always had an ear for music that blends energy with emotion. The songs that shaped me were the ones you could feel right away but also carry with you later, catchy and bouncy with melodies that stay in your head. Over time I started producing my own edits and remixes, chasing the same feeling I got from the records I loved. Hours in Ableton slowly turned into full songs, and sharing them online brought people into my corner. Each release has helped me shape my style into something sharper and more distinct, always aiming for tracks that are both driving and memorable. Now I am focused on pushing my music further with more releases, more collaborations, and more late nights turning ideas into grooves. My goal is simple, to create songs that connect and keep listeners coming back.
