Alternative Reality, also known as AR, is an Ecuadorian DJ, producer & creative director based in Los Angeles, California. His productions explore a diverse range of electronic styles, including tech house, tribal house, funky house, hard house, hard techno, and electro. Alternative Reality discovered his love for music at a very young age and started DJing when he was just 9 years old. By the age of 12, he had already played his first rave, which was a pivotal moment in his career. From that moment on, Alternative Reality was committed to perfecting his skills as a DJ & producer. At the age of 15, Alternative Reality started producing music using MTV's Music Generator for the PlayStation. He quickly learned the ins and outs of music production and began to refine his skills using Acid, Reason & Ableton, which he still uses to this day. In 2007 he founded the label Prompt Digital as a means to release his music, and along the way he curated a stellar international artist roster. The label has released a string of successful tracks that have been supported by DJs around the world and continue to reach audiences across the electronic music community.
