Holger Stausberg, born in Iserlohn, Germany, is a guitarist and music producer. Under his artist name soundbay, he creates unique EDM tracks characterized by the integration of live-recorded instruments such as guitars, bass, and brass. His work ranges from atmospheric original compositions to demanding commissioned projects in sound design. Since 2021, soundbay has regularly released singles that take listeners on immersive musical journeys. He also collaborates with talented guest musicians whose contributions enrich his tracks. A standout project by soundbay is the composition and production of the music for the ARD Radiotatort "Ans Wasser" by Elisabeth Hermann, which aired in 2014 under the direction of Sven Stricker. Additionally, soundbay is responsible for the sound design of the popular maritim audio drama series "Sherlock und Co.". His work on the cases "Tod am Dock", "Tödliche Trauben", and "Das Rattendorf" significantly contributes to the dense atmosphere and immersive listening experience of these thrilling productions.
