Based in Hyderabad, Neeraj Sharma (the architect behind the project) has spent the last few years refining a sound that is both a "dancefloor force and a meditative journey." 2026 has marked a pivotal shift for the project, with his latest release, Liminal Drift (Progressive House Argentina), receiving immediate international support from artists in Germany, Russia, and Argentina. Known for his signature blend of intricate textures and atmospheric depth, his music has become a staple on influential labels such as Soupherb Records, Shango Records, and Tibetania. From the hypnotic ethno-grooves of Wāḥa to the club-ready energy of Spectral Cartography, STRANGESONIC continues to dismantle genre boundaries, shaping a sound defined by depth, texture, and emotional resonance.
