Soul In The Horn is an institution of NYC-nightlife-turned-global-phenomenon, born in 2015 as a collaborative vision between effervescent resident DJ Natasha Diggs and respected A&R artist and curator DProsper. The party—which started as a weekly Friday night at Subrosa, a small Cuban jazz bar in NYC’s meatpacking district—was created as a place where diverse cross sections of music could be celebrated with the horn as the common thread. The movement quickly became a platform for emerging and revered artists alike, with everyone from Roy Ayers, Erykah Badu, Janelle Monáe, Q-Tip, El DeBarge, and, fresh off his first album, Anderson .Paak blessing the SITH stage. Merging DJs and live performances with a horn section while hosting some of the world‘s most iconic dancers. In its 10 years on the NYC club scene, Soul In The Horn has firmly cemented its place as a meeting ground for creatives, music lovers, dancers, and party people. It’s been dubbed church, therapy, a sanctuary, a place where people of all walks of life can gather, commune, and be free. It is more than just one of the greatest parties in NYC; people have met their life partners, best friends, and esteemed artistic collaborators on these hallowed dance floors. Throughout it all, the unifying mission of Soul In The Horn has been—and will forever be—to uplift the collective vibration.
