Amy Jones
“All these songs were written in different seasons of my life. Some come from disappointment. Some come from growing through a painful situation. Some come from pure thankfulness to God for allowing me to be able to share my gift.” Amy shares. Amy opens up about the experiences that shaped her alongside this album release. “The themes that are present in this body of work stretches from heartache to pure joy, to falling in love and to now getting married. The body of work resembles the seasons of my life.” As if this ray of sunshine couldn’t beam any brighter, Amy shares that she likes to write songs that are feel-good and uplifting. She states that the world needs more of a hopeful tone - and that’s exactly what she’s done with this album. Although some of the songs deal with disappointment, Amy penned it so artfully, that it’s still a jam with enough groove to bring the house down. Like she says, “When you can write a breakup song and make it sound like one amazing sing along song – you’ve nailed it!” Her lead track, ‘Alone No More’ channels Alicia Keys and Black Coffee’s ‘In Common’, with punchy bass and melodic hooks that’ll stay stuck in your head for days. It’s dancey and such a summer anthem, just in time for ‘Dezember’ peeking around the corner.
