M.C, Griot, & Hip Hop Historian are some names that describe this artist. Growing up in South Side Queens, NYC, during the 90's golden era is when Demorne Warren honed his skills. After working with Paul Twumasi and producers Migz, Felix Nevarez and Roberto Yepez at D&D Studio's, they started the independent label Do For Self Entertainment LLC. In 2005, Pauly - On aka Paul Twumasi and Demorne Warren partnered up to co own Do For Self Entertainment LLC. Since 2005 Demorne Warren and Do For Self Ent. have released three albums "The World According to D" in 2005, "Excelsior" in 2016, and "Undeniable" in 2022. Songs like the "Panic remix" featuring Billy Danze of M.O.P. , Undeniable and Help Us All featuring General Steele of Smif and Wessun and HAPH were notable standouts on that album. Demorne Warren is also one half of the group High Frequency, who put out their debut album "The Most High Frequency" in 2021. In February 2025, Demorne Warren and Do For Self Entertainment will be releasing his fourth album The Process.
