Founders of Basskicks firstly the name of the nights they started in their home town of Leicester then of Face Book page they started , around 2016 the two brother decided to start running intimate gigs, having run nights at one of the most well known clubs in the town way back in 2007 , they wanted to bring the crowd in , to develop a scene of like minded people. Having proved them self on the local circuit being booked for most other brands supporting names such as Kenny Ken , DJ Brockie , Phibes , Mampi Swift , DJ SS , Ray Keith , DR Meaker ,Genral Levy , Sense MC , G1 , Bassman. Them selves bringing names like Conrad Subs, Ray Uptown , Kumo , Warhead , Teej , Exile , DJ Excess , DJ Unique's to Leicester for the first time. Whilst running events at the dawn of live streaming , the two brothers decided to start a live stream from their facebook page , along side their MC and brother from another mother Burger MC, from this they gained a following from all over the world , from Europe to the USA to Australia , gaining popularity and at it's peak over two shows a week getting over 70k views between them , from this and their live gigs, they became close with a lot of major labels,receiving promos from most of the major labels in the DnB world. With all this going on, One-Dread had from the age of 17 been producing first on Fruity loops then moving to Reason before settling on Cubase , having been taught by his brother DJ 2 Clean to DJ at the age of 16 , it was inevitable that they would work together , One-Dread having played drums since the age of 14 and having learned how to play piano ( along the way ) then attending a collage course with his brother where they developed their sound and understanding of music production and studio engineering.
