Bautek (Bautista Gutiérrez) is an Argentine musician, producer, and DJ based in Buenos Aires. His sound explores house, techno, and EBM, shaped by percussive rhythms, swinging basslines, and vocal textures that build a continuous dialogue with the dance floor. A vinyl-driven DJ, his sets draw from Detroit’s raw, machine-soul character, blending that lineage with the energy of the current club sound. Influenced early on by the FreeTekno movement—his first language as a raver—he approaches music as a collective experience, where the DJ steps aside so atmosphere and sound can take the lead. Active since 2019, he produced his first event at EsVedra Club and later co-founded EMPATHY, a community-focused rave series in Buenos Aires’ independent scene. In 2025, he released his debut EP House Teks’ on Detroit Classic Gallery, an Argentine label founded by E110101. The record merges house sensibilities with a techno framework: intense rhythms, deep basslines, and a club-oriented identity that marks a new chapter in his sound.
