Listen to keep close

Running On Empty aka Paul Bye Kennett (Midnight's Child) and David Ocitti (MC Prodical) are an exciting and dynamic hip hop duo. They met at University in 2004 and found that their differing but complimentary styles of music have created a fresh new sound. Paul, who has a classical background in piano, guitar, flute and had previously played in indie/rock bands, brings a touch of class to the musical production while David's passion for Hip Hop and the intensity of his imagination shines through his intelligent lyrics. The duo's creativity and love for music has allowed them to produce material that will blow you away. Since their first live appearance at Bar Retro in Aberystwyth, the boys have performed at a number of high profile venues including The Aberystwyth Student Union, The Fleece & Firkin, Barfly and many large capacity bars and clubs throughout Aberystwyth, Bristol and London, including a residency slot at Storm in Leicester Square. ROE have taken over the radio waves, featuring on and winning BBC's 1Xtra and Radio One's 'Homegrown Cuts' competition. The duo were nominated for MTVs Brand New for 2013 and 2014.
