STS (aka Something To Say formally known as Sugar Tongue Slim) first came up on Philly's Slam Poetry scene. He became a regular at Black Lily, the now legendary series that started in Quest’s living room. At the urging of DJ Jazzy Jeff, Slim began rapping.
