Biography
The Diva in Disguise, pseudonym of Paola Gaglio, is a singer, songwriter, and performer. Raised in a creative environment, she developed a passion for the performing arts from an early age. Her artistic identity is defined by a compelling duality: the intimate, emotional world of jazz on one side, and the fiery allure of pop on the other. This inner contrast gave birth to Diva—a chameleonic alter ego who reveals herself by hiding behind a bold, Old Hollywood-inspired aesthetic, both enigmatic and theatrical. Her musical universe draws inspiration from icons such as David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Raffaella Carrà, Lady Gaga, Mina, Eva Cassidy, Aretha Franklin, Björk, and Prince. She is currently involved in several projects, including Dinner Delights, which blends jazz sonorities with iconic pop records, and The Soulbees, with whom she performs live and has collaborated on an original album, available on all major platforms. She also collaborates with Italian rapper Eva Rea.
