Biography
Nares is a Subterranean Acoustic Entity created in Niagara, Ontario. She is a multidisciplinary anomaly currently presenting as a musician. Her age is unknown. By conceiving and concluding an early prototype known as PLUM (Peace, Love, Unity, Music), her work has since evolved into an ongoing investigation concerning sound, memory, technology, entities from beyond this World, and other unstable systems. After several years spent collecting strange frequencies from small towns, abandoned websites, motel walls, Catholic guilt, disappearing friendships, dead flowers, etc... she then befriended a murder of 8 very special crows, and began transmitting under the name Nares. Experts remain divided on whether Nares is a pop artist, performance art experiment, cryptid, government psyop, or an unusually persistent software bug.
