ABOUT K -ANTHONY: K-Anthony’s musical roots trace back to his childhood church in Falmouth, Jamaica, where reggae and R&B first shaped his ear. A Bachelor of Arts in Music gave him classical grounding, and he recently completed a Master of Divinity, deepening the theological thread that runs through his songwriting. His songs lead with clear, purposeful lyrics and a consistently hopeful tone, music built around his faith and his belief in a better future. He writes especially for young people who feel lost, offering them a sense of purpose rather than just a melody. His work has earned a 2021 JUNO nomination, the 2022 GMA Canada Covenant Award for Gospel Song of the Year for “Free,” and the 2024 JUNO Award for Christian/Gospel Album of the Year.
