The LSO was established in 1904 as one of the first orchestras shaped by its musicians. Today it is ranked among the world’s top orchestras, with a family of artists that includes Chief Conductor Designate Sir Antonio Pappano, Conductor Emeritus Sir Simon Rattle, Principal Guest Conductors Gianandrea Noseda and François-Xavier Roth , Conductor Laureate Michael Tilson Thomas and Associate Artists Barbara Hannigan and André J. Thomas. The LSO is Resident Orchestra at the Barbican in the City of London, and reaches international audiences through touring and artistic residencies, and through digital partnerships and an extensive programme of live-streamed and on-demand online broadcasts. Through a world-leading learning and community programme, LSO Discovery, the LSO connects people from all walks of life to the power of great music. LSO musicians are at the heart of this unique programme, leading workshops, mentoring bright young talent, performing at free concerts for the local community and using music to support neurodiverse adults. In 1999, the LSO formed its own recording label, LSO Live. It has become one of the world’s most talked-about classical labels, and has over 200 recordings in the catalogue so far. The LSO is a leading orchestra for film, and uses streaming services to reach a worldwide online audience totalling millions every month. Through inspiring music, learning programmes and technological innovations, the LSO’s reach extends far beyond the concert hall.

Little Symphony's mission is to inspire people to prioritize personal wellness and connect with nature. Our team travels the world recording waterfalls, oceans, jungles, forests, and everything in between. We pair these sounds with heartfelt ambient, classical, and orchestral music to create a calming atmosphere to support our listeners diverse needs. Our team is based in Canada, so it's no surprise we love recording the Canadian outdoors. We have recorded notable locations like Banff National Park, Niagara Falls, Tofino, the Cabot Trail, Jasper National Park, and many others. We are also grateful to have a global audience, with listeners from over 170 countries. We are working to expand our international collection of sounds with recordings from all continents. Christopher Larkin is an award-winning composer and sound designer. He has a number of achievements and collaborations under his belt, including the score and sound for indie game hit Hollow Knight, and he is currently working on its sequel, Silksong. He has composed and produced music for a number of interactive and linear media, including indie point and click Tohu, recent Cannes World Film Festival award-winning VR documentary Thin Ice VR, Children's TV hit Figaro Pho and Hipster Whale/Bandai Namco's Pac-Man 256. Awards include Best Music for Children's TV at APRA Screen Music Awards, Best Composition at the South Australian Screen Awards, official selections at the Australian Game Developer Awards, PC Gamer’s Best Game Music of the Year, ASSG Awards, and Freeplay Awards. One of Chris’ main goals is to maintain a classically-educated approach to music composition and sound design, whilst using his knowledge of current technology to produce a vast range of musical styles and soundscapes. He always strives to explore new ways of how music can reflect or embellish human emotion and mood, in the context of linear and interactive worlds.

Ryuichi Sakamoto was a composer, producer, and artist born in Tokyo. His diverse résumé includes pioneering electronic works in the legendary techno group Yellow Magic Orchestra, producing pop albums and numerous classical compositions, two operas, and nearly 45 original film/TV scores for directors, including Bernardo Bertolucci, Pedro Almodóvar, Brian De Palma, and Alejandro González Iñárritu. His film soundtracks have won prestigious awards, including an Academy Award, two Golden Globes, and many more. On January 17th, 2023, his 71st birthday, Ryuichi released "12", his 15th solo album. The new album is a collection of 12 songs selected from musical sketches Sakamoto recorded like a sound diary during his two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer. In the years leading up to his death, Sakamoto could no longer perform live. Single concerts, not to mention sprawling global tours, were too taxing. Despite this, in late 2022, Sakamoto mustered all of his energy to leave the world with one final performance: a concert film featuring just him and his piano. A celebration of an artist's life in the purest sense, Ryuichi Sakamoto | Opus is the definitive swan song of the beloved maestro. Ryuichi Sakamoto passed away in March 2023 at the age of 71. In memory of Ryuichi, his family and friends launched TREES FOR SAKAMOTO, a tree planting initiative to enable fans to donate to planting trees in various regions simply and transparently.

The Best of The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra is a world-renown professional symphony orchestra, founded over 60 years ago. The orchestra features predominantly Czech classical and jazz musicians…with guest players selected from musicians studying at the Conservatoire in Prague. The orchestra started out, just after the end of World War II, as the in-house orchestra for the huge Barrandov Film Studios, regularly playing music for film and animation productions made at the world famous Prague studios, as well as featuring in the historic Krátký Film productions (meaning “short film,” in Czech), and productions for the former Czechoslovak Television. In recent years the orchestra have performed many concerts of classical and film music repertoire throughout Europe but especially Germany, where they are the “in house” orchestra for Klassik Radio. Now, with the international acclaim for their prize winning recordings, the orchestra is receiving requests for more live concerts around the world. These request recently peaked with the orchestra performing in front of an audience of 20,000 in Santiago, Chile with conductor Nic Raine and guest soloist Itzhak Perlman.
