Presenting Chris Potter, his debut as a leader, appeared in 1992, followed by the more confident Concentricx Circles a year later. Adept at alto, tenor, and soprano saxophones, as well as bass clarinet, Potter received acclaim from critics and admiration from fellow musicians for his forward thinking style which could be lyrically reflective and extremely adventurous.
