Hamburg based music producer, beatmaker and record collector Will B. Heard is not only inspired by the sound of the Golden Era of Hip Hop from the 1990s but grew up and made Hip Hop music as an artist himself during that time period. After working in the music industry as an artist and music producer almost his whole life Will B. Heard wanted to go back in time and create the sound he grew up and started his own career as an artist with. Working on the songs actually started out as a just for fun project to create music he loves and ended up in a full lenght album entitled "This Is Me". But it isn´t just a title, it deeply represents Will B. Heard. As a lover of vintage analog gear, Will B. Heard likes to incorporate classic drum machines and synthesizers, such as the E-mu SP-12, Akai S900 and an analog mixing console into his production process. This passion for old-school technology lends a raw, authentic sound to his music that connects with the spirit of the Golden Era of Hip Hop.
