Biography
Dutch rapper Henkie T, real name Henk Mando, was born in Paramaribo, Suriname, on October 3, 1994. He grew up in the Amsterdam suburb of Kraaiennest, where he was introduced to rap and in 2012 formed the duo SBMG (Sawtu Boys Money Gang) with Chivv, who made three albums before going their separate ways in 2019. Under the same QuatroVision he created, Henkie T released the single "DomDoen" with Jonna Fraser and the Visioinair EP that same year, which reached #2. Several other tracks are popular on listening platforms, most of them from the album Netwerk (2020), particularly the hit "Shawty Is a Freak", which reaches #8 in the Tipparade. He reunites with Jonna Fraser, Qlas, Blacka and Murda on "Dom Perignon" (No. 13). After several other releases and collaborations, "Friss" is another viral hit in 2025.
