Biography
Puerto Rico native Michael Joel came up surrounded by music. As a kid living in the tropics, he shifted from the Island’s dominant reggaeton music scene and immersed himself in hip-hop culture after he was introduced to Eminem's Marshall Mathers LP and TV shows like MTV’s TRL featuring the most popular artists from the 2000s. Hosting a range of musical influences like The Weeknd, Travis Scott and Khalid, Joel’s music sets a brooding tone and gloomy self-reflections.
