Biography
Hwang Se-young, born on November 8, 1994, in Busan, is a Korean soul singer-songwriter known professionally as søye. She participated in Produce 101 in 2016 but ranked 67th, and she also appeared on KPOP Star Season 6 and Duet Song Festival in 2017. She won the Girls On Fire competition in 2024 but did not debut with the program. She studied vocal music at Howon University, a well-known institution for applied music. Her single "Stop," released on July 3, 2025, entered Melon’s Top 500 chart at number 7 on the day of its release.
