Biography
Stakz DeVito is a Hip Hop artist who neatly packages short but relatable stories in lyrics that are grounded in the gritty realities of this world. His soulful and powerful words, combined with hard-hitting beats, leave his listeners feeling fulfilled with what they hear. DeVito’s ability to smartly use music as a form of creative expression comes from his troubling childhood. As a young teen, music was one way for him to escape and separate himself from his abusive household. He recalls his infatuation with Hip Hop at a young age and his first Hip Hop tape being “The Fat Boys”. However, eventually the effects of his home led him into a negative space, landing him in and out of jail and then eventually prison. At that point, he turned his path completely to music. Since then, DeVito has worked on a lot of music, his latest release being a single called “Lost Souls” featuring Millyz. Growing up in Addison, Illinois, and now residing near Orlando, Florida, this artist has supplemented his releases with live performances at multiple events and venues. DeVito has opened for artists like MGK, Big Sean, Jelly Roll, Bubba Sparxxx, Do Or Die, Twista, and was recently part of the Blanco 6 Tour opening for Millyz. That said, regardless of where DeVitos shows are or who he opens for, his audience enjoys a loud and powerful performance. At this point, DeVito is focused entirely on creating the best music he can, so that more people can use his music as escapism, as he once did.
