honeyboi is a shoegaze artist from Canosa di Puglia, in the Apulia region of Italy. The project began in 2024, born out of a period of loneliness, sadness, and emotional void. As reported by Rockear, it was described as “a valve of escape” — when the artist found himself surrounded by emotions, he turned to sound as a form of release.  His work blends noise, ethereal melodies, and candid lyrics, seeking balance between fragility and distortion. The sound is hazy yet sincere, reflecting the quiet chaos of the inner world. Drawing from the traditions of shoegaze — its blurred guitar walls and drifting vocals — honeyboi merges noise, melody, and stripped-down lyricism into a dense sonic haze.  His music resists polish in favor of catharsis: distortion layered with introspective words, evoking the feeling of being both submerged and seen. His music aims to create a space of resonance and understanding for those who feel ignored and isolated.
